Memorial Day Parade: Begins with a brief ceremony at 10:30 am at Memorial Plaza (Main Street & Memorial Highway).  From there the parade will proceed up Memorial Highway, turn on Huguenot St. to North Ave. and down North Ave. to Pelham Rd. and into Hudson Park for a waterfront ceremony dedicated to those lost at sea. New Rochelle's Challenger Little League: Now accepting registrations for its 16th season. The Challenger League provides a little league baseball experience to boys and girls with disabilities, ages 6 through 21. Children with all disabilities are invited to participate in this Saturday afternoon program which takes place 2 PM at New Rochelle Little League's Scott Perdew Field from late April through mid-June. Coaches and "buddies" assist the ball players to enjoy the sport at their level of ability. Sponsored by New Rochelle Little League, the Challenger League is free of charge to participants. Spring Film Festival: Thursdays, May 15 – June 12: The festival opens with Primary Colors. Subsequent films are City Hall on May 22; All the President’s Men on May 29 and Nixon on June 12. In these  films, that will appeal to members of any political party, Jewish characters wrestle with themes of ethics, betrayal and corruption. Each program runs from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm. A buffet deli dinner will precede an introduction to the evening’s film. Each screening will be followed by a critique and hotly contested debate. The series is $75 for members; $90 for non-members and $50 for young adults. Individual tickets are $22 for members, $25 for non-members and $15 for young adults. Through May 18: Architectural Details:  An exhibition of black and white photographs by Janet Glazer will be on display in the Kanner-Kurzon Museum of Beth El Synagogue Center, New Rochelle. The gallery is open Saturday and Sunday mornings.
